LIME-Labour Integration for Migrant Employment, aims to promote the integration of young people from third countries (ages 18-29) in the labour market in two relevant territorial contexts, Italy and Spain. The project, funded with FAMI funds, uses an innovative and potentially replicable methodology, “Migrants Economic Integration Cluster- MEIC”, based on the creation of a partnership of socio-economic multi-stakeholders, which includes public and private actors (socio-economic inclusion services, civil society organizations, Chambers of Commerce, institutions, local authorities, work desks, training services). The Cluster Group will be engaged in the definition and implementation of a long-term strategy dedicated to the strengthening of policies and tools for integration into the labour market existing in the territories of action, adapting them to the needs of the project’s target group, young migrants. As regards Italy, the partners involved in the project, including Cies onlus, are proceeding with the selection of 50 migrant citizens aged between 18 and 29 years, applicants for international protection, holders of political asylum or subsidiary protection or permit for awaiting employment (only for former unaccompanied minors). Applicants must have a B1 level of Italian language and live in Rome and/or surroundings. For further information, please write to lime@cies.it or consult the dedicated website: www.limeproject.eu.
