New report “Employers Together For Integration: Territorial analysis and best practices mapping of employers who stood up for migrants’ labour inclusion”

Employers Together for Integration is an initiative launched on 23rd of May 2017 by the European Commission during the second meeting of the European Dialogue on Skills and Migration. It aims to give visibility to what employers are doing to support the integration of refugees and the migrants into the labour market, showcasing how their successful integration is a great advantage for our societies.

Within the scope of the LIME project, we also wanted to highlight the work of these employers who stood up for migrants’ labour inclusion. On the 5th of May, we organised a webinar on this topic “Employers together for integration – Concrete examples of employers who stood up for migrants’ labour inclusion” and welcomed 3 speakers who shared with us their enriching stories: Obada Otabashi, founder of We Exist, Inès Mesmar, director and founder of La Fabrique Nomade, and Barbara Spezini, founder of Colorivivi. It was also the opportunity to listen to the participants and gather good practices dedicated to improving the integration of migrants into the labour market.

As a result of it, we are delighted to share with you our last report “Employers Together For Integration: Territorial analysis and best practices mapping of employers who stood up for migrants’ labour inclusion” in which you will discover our examples: Consorzio A.I.D Italia Cooperative Sociale, Gustamundo, Altrove – Porte Aperte sul mondo Restaurant, and much more! These initiatives reach a wide range of activities: catering, fashion, tourism, agriculture, etc.
